what's a good computer for a relatively low price that is fast and reliable for homework,etc and gaming?

there are NO gaming computers that are cheap. i know that sounds backwards, but gaming is the one thing that requires more CPU power than ANYTHING!

now, online games, just about ANY computer can handle those, as long as it is not one that requires an installation to play. and for homework, even the cheapest PC will work.

Netbooks were designed with school-type activities in mind, but they suck at gaming, and even video playback and multitasking.

i would recommend getting a computer with a Core i3 CPU. it is low end, but upgradeable, to future-proof your purchase...
