Band question?
So I'm in 8th grade an I play the clarinet, I was wondering if I got a clarinet that wasn't black (it's got a brownish wooden look) would that be ok in a concert band? Thanks

That would be perfectly fine.
The only kind of ensemble where it might be an issue is if you're planning on being in marching band in high school. Some bands want all their instruments to be uniform and look similar.
