Do questions asked on "Yahoo Answers" show the effects of The Dumbing Down of America?

Yahoo Answers is used by people around the world, so it's a mistake to assume every dumb thing you see here was posted by an American. It wasn't. Americans do not have a monopoly on stupidity.

Users of all ages, all backgrounds, all levels of income, education, intelligence, most any qualifier you could name, can and do ask and answer here. No one is paid to ask or answer, questions and answers are not filtered for quality or accuracy before posting, and any user can post just about anyTHING, except a few words (mostly profanity and common slurs) which are automatically censored.

Also, the site is free to use. What you get is sometimes worth what you paid for, and none of us should expect otherwise.

Yes, sometimes the spelling and Grammar is Atrocious.

And I find Questions like Why is the Sky Blue?

"Dumbing Down" Is the only way for Liberals to make things Equal in everything.

Like School Sports where they don't keep score, like what's the point?

Not to me as most of the members are teens still learning. What bothers me about many questions/answers is that they show that racism is still rampant.Young teens don't come up with racism on their own. They are learning it from Mom and Dad. Now that is scary.

An average of 823,966 questions are asked each day on Yahoo!Answers.....

If each asker asked an average of five questions each day, that would require 400,000 "400lb guys" in their Mom's basements, for a total mass of 160,000 TONS of fat guys...

Very much so in my opinion.I cannot believe some of the things I see here.
