How do I find mass flow rate?

I'm given that a car consumes gasoline at 20 mpg traveling at 60 mph and that the specific gravity of gas is 0.72. How can convert this into mass flow rate which I know is mass/time?

    First get the volume flow rate

    Vdot = 60 miles/hr * 1/20 gallons / mile = 3 gallons per hour

    To get the mass flow rate, multiply by the density of water *specific gravity

    Mdot = (density*specific gravity)*vdot

    Youll have to look up the density of water.

    You can convert units even more so if you want, but you never told us what the answer should be in.
