How do you fight sugar cravings?

I am an addict. I cut all chocolate, breads, pastas etc and I am craving for something sweet. In my case I get relentless, can't concentrate, get constant migraines, joint pains, relentless, aggression, cravings that last more than 24 non-stop. I get so mad I feel like biting someone, it sounds nuts but yes, I fantasize about it. lol Fruits don't satisfy me. I want to do a keto diet (no-very low sugar diet) and I don't know how with this madness going on?

I feel your pain. Keto diets are great because they are high in fat so you don't have problems with hunger. I know I'm less likely to eat sugar after a satisfying meal. After eating a sandwich for lunch I always craved sweet things. But it takes awhile for keto to 'kick in' because you go through withdrawals (they call it keto flu).

Stevia is a natural sweetener that comes from a plant and is like 1000 times sweeter than sugar, but is low carb. I don't have much experience with it as I didn't like the aftertaste the few times I tried it. I think once you get the right amount, it would be nice, but I find it easier to sweeten my food with banana or honey (not low carb, I know... I'm working on it...)

So anyway, keto would be a great place to start fighting the sugar cravings.

Another idea is cheese! I don't know why but eating cheese seems to stop sugar cravings for me. Fruit is sweet and makes me want to keep eating sweet foods, so I see how it doesn't help you either. But cheese seems to be the one savoury thing that stops me wanting sugar.

I get that too. If you distract yourself, it gets much easier. Try sipping a little bit of juice at a time, and slowly cut back. I went from 6 juice boxes a day to 1-2 a day.I also play video games sometimes to distract myself
