Normally having a septic tank would be no problem for a FHA or USDA mortgage loan.

There might be an inspection of the septic take required. You would be informed of this during the mortgage loan process.

You are able to request a booklet or pamphlet from your government mortgage loan lenders that might address this topic. Of course you might also contact a local government mortgage lender loan officer and find out the requirements. in having a septic tank.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

    Yes of course.

The septic tank and drain field will have to pass whatever inspections/tests that are required by the various authorities such as state/local government.
