Signs you are speaking just to assert your own beliefs?!?

Sometimes people speak just to asset to themselves what they think is reality. What are some signs someone might be doing it as opposed to just expressing themselves?

    Well if a belief is working it should lead to practices that increase goodness reducing fear/anxiety and sin , so there shroud be no agro just understanding and patience , religion should give a Buzz that lasts all day long or its not working, as an Evolutional Goodhist I have my Buzz on.

    None. Expressing yourself is asserting what you believe true. What exactly do you mean "as opposed to"? Lying?
