Would it practical to have a tesla for work?
I'm an account manager. When work I drive an average of 100 miles a day. Through out the day I'll drive to 10 to 15 accounts. So it's constant driving & stopping.
I currently driving a 2012 Prius C. It has done really well for me.
I'm really interested in the Tesla, but I'm not sure if it's really practical for the cost.

100 miles a day is well within a daily charge range of even the smallest capacity battery available in a Tesla Model S. You could safely still drive another 50-70 miles on a full charge even with the smallest battery available, and you could drive even more if you get one of the higher capacity batteries available in a Tesla.
Whether or not a Tesla is worth it to you given that the purchase price of even the most modest Tesla Model S is 2-3 times what a what a typical Prius C costs is entirely up to you because that's a subjective question, but I wouldn't worry about sufficient driving range being a deterrent to buying the Tesla if you're not exceeding at least 150 miles per day and you've got someplace to fully charge the car every night before work the next day.
