How do I stop masturbating?
I want to stop masturbating but I don't know how to stop completely because I've been doing it for years. I mean I can go without for a day or so but I'm always tempted to do it again.

Schedule an appointment with your family doctor. When the doctor asks what brings you in today show them what you have written here. Ask if they can prescribe any medication that can help you meet your goal and if not then let them know you want to explore any surgical options. Ask your doctor if they can refer you to a mental health professional that can help you meet your goal.
If you want something you can do right now I suggest the rubber band method. Put two thick rubber band around each wrist and when this urge appears you should snap the first band on your left wrist, count to 10 slowly, and then snap the second band. Count to 10 slowly again and check if the urge is still present, if it is then follow the same steps with the bands on your right wrist. Continue alternating wrists until the urge disappear.

It is a voluntary act, but you did not say why you wanted to stop normal solo sex. There is certainly no side effect to masturbation,.
