What does left/down mean in NES?
In TMNT Tournament fighters I'm trying to figure out how to use certain moves off of directions. For example: left, B means press left, release, then press B. If you see you see left+B then it means to press them simultaneously. But what does it mean if it says left/down, left? What does the slash mean?

If it were a joystick controller, you'd be diagonally down and left at the same time.
In the D-pad, it's just pressing down both down and left at the same time to simulate that similar gesture.
