Is what I am doing on YouTube illegal?
I am downloading copyrighted instrumental tracks and singing to them, such as this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5U5MP7THo8
I want to know if I am doing something illegal, because I have used those tracks and sang to them in public places, so if this is illegal because they are copyrighted, I will stop immediately.

If they are royalty free, then you are allowed. If they are copyrighted and you do not have permission, then this is illegal. If they are copyrighted, all you need is permission and you are allowed.
