    Same sex love is normal in the writer's mind.

    And age doesn't matter.

    Looking at Sonnet 57, the writer is claiming that the young man, due to the age gap, enslaves him and he must be patient and wait for the time when the fair youth desires the poet and the poet will ultimately wait for that time.

    You can't answer that question. The speaker of a poem (the "I" character in the poem) isn't necessarily the same person as the real-life poet. The speaker may be a totally fictitious character whom the real-life author created and to whom he gave opinions that are totally different from his own.
