So the Nintendo switch isn't a handheld?...?
So I thought the switch was going to be a handheld but I heard that it's supposed to be a console that can turn portable lol. So first things first its supposed to be a console that connects to the tv and as a bonus it goes portable... This is rather depressing I thought portable gaming was supposed to be revived some day rather than using phones. I'd rather not buy a spin-off Nintendo console that will only last like 3 hours on its own as a portable. Sorry but I do like my handhelds and I hope someone can clarify on how this switch will actually be. I wanna see portable games like resident evil monster hunter dark souls and maybe even Bethesda games on it though. Il buy it just for the fun but if it was more inclined on leisure on the go gaming g I'd be a serious buyer lol.

right now theres not very much known about the switch (nintendo hasn't said anything since the release trailer and doesn't plan to until january) but from what i can tell the switch isn't reall meant to be either. it seems like nintendo has tried to make it the best of both worlds and isn't just a half-assed attempt to add a portability option to a home console. Also the trailer spent a lot more time showing off the switch on the go and it seems to be the main selling point of the console, so i would expect a pretty good portable expirience. I'm personally skeptical of whether nintendo will be able to pull this off or not but i hope they do.
