How come Democrats never have the cojones to bring impeachment charges against a president?

Impeachment is a big deal and should not be used as a political tactic or to show what big balls you have. It is there only to be able to get rid of a person who is truly corrupt and harmful for the country. It should never be about political parties.

Thank goodness it is not being abused the way you are suggesting it should be.

We were going to impeach Nixon. But Bush/Cheney would have been impeached for deleting 2 million emails from their private server, just like Reagan would have been impeached for Iran Contra if it wasn't right at the end of their terms. Simple answer - dems put country first, cons put party first.

It's a waste if time. I takes 2/3 to pass and with the house being about 50/50 it would never pass. This is why bill never got empeached.

Democrats brought impeachment proceedings against Nixon, and (unlike Bill Clinton), Mr. Nixon faced conviction and so was forced to resign the Presidency....

It's not a matter of not having the "cajones".........it's a matter of having the INTELLIGENCE to know that you need a two thrids vote for a CONVICTION............or else why BOTHER and waste everyone's TIME and MONEY? -----like the GOP did, crying over Bill's little fib and BJ............wasting millions in Taxpayer money........to have their stupid impeachment hearing, knowing damn well from the GET GO.........they would never get a two thirds vote to CONVICT-
