Inflating an air bed?

I just bought one abd it says it needs to be fully inflated for 5 days before use? So I cant use it? Do I just inflate it every night for a few days?

That warning is nothing, Ive owned plenty of air matresses in my life. Just inflate it and you're good to go. Eventually the air will leak out, in which case youll need to reinflate it. Try your best not to put a hole in it, because they cause a lot of problems.

an air mattress? Unless you have some special kind of mattress, it does not need to sit for a while before use. Air is air. Once it's in there, you can sleep on it.

I say go ahead and inflate, if you need it now. I bought one because we had trouble moving a mattress, then found out the stupid thing was not returnable. Thanks, Walmart!

Aero beds suck, I'd rather sleep on the floor.

UPDATE***: Its got fiber-technology which has inside support. Is that why it needs this? Or do they all say that?
