Okay so I'm writing a parody story of something, and in this story I'm writing a parody of, the character is awoken at night by a fire in his home. However This is a parody and I want it to be funny. For example, someone in my class used Miley's wrecking ball for the cause of his house being destroyed. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

    I woke up in the night, with my house on fire, I shouted to my parents get out now, otherwise we'll all be dead.
