My team is above. What should I do with Charles? I'm waiting to hear the news about his visit with Dr Andrews to decide but looking at my roster should I add a RB or WR if I drop him?

Tried trading but there is no interest.

Thinking I could maybe drop Charles for a RB and Gillislee for a WR.

Waiver RBs are Hightower, C West, Antone Smith, Peyton Barber, Derrick Henry

Waiver WRs are Allen Robinson, Enunwa, Inman, Smith Sr, Travis Benjamin, Kendall Wright, Corey Coleman

Leave your lineup the way you have it as long as Ware passes the concussion protocol. If he doesn't then put McCoy/Gillislee in the lineup depending on the status of McCoy's hamstring. Put in a waiver claim on Hightower dropping Charles and a 2nd one on Henry dropping Charles, a 3rd claim for Robinson dropping Charles and a 4rd one for West dropping Charles assuming you're in Yahoo where you can do this. At waiver priority 10 you may not get any of them, but it increases your chances of getting one. You'll get the first one available if there are more than one at your pick. Any later claims will fail because Charles is no longer on your team.

Wait to hear on McCoy and Ware later in the week. If one or both are healthy or if your waiver claim gets you an RB then you can drop Gillislee for a free agent if there's one you want. Don't drop Gillislee before you know you don't need to play him.
