Yes they definitely can like shy and quiet guys! The thing is that most people are attracted to confidence. And shy and quiet people tend to lack confidence. But, I don't think it's always true or has to be true. You can have enough confidence but still be quiet. Like, you may have confidence in some areas but maybe just shy with girls, for example.
