Why would we want to go to Mars - When some of us think we killed that Planet before we came here ??

Humans have this increible blind spot that has them forever looking elsewhere when there is so much needed where they are. We have poisoned our world. This is not a judgment or an opinion. It is a fact and you can call it negative if you like but facts are neither negative or positive. There is a vert tiny group of people who decide where money and time needs to be spent. These people have an agenda. They think their ideas are worth pursuing. The majority of the world lives in poverty and we are blind to the needs of others. We separate everything. The geniuses that are spending countless billions of $'s and millions of hours trying to solve problems that don't need solving are a disgrace. Our planet is dying and we canot even see it.

Mars is deadly to humans. even if life came from there it was not "like us", just microbial life carried inside a meteorite which splashed down in the primordial soup. Earth is not beyond restoration. Cement can be made from CO2 and seawater. The "powers that be" will not certify this so the make Portland cement which generates lots of CO2 in the manufacture then even more CO2 when it is curing. Concrete is everywhere, roads, buildings airport runways etc

People are very confused. They are also under the influence of the wealthy, greedy minority who are wrecking our society, civilisation and planet in their endless pursuit of profit, obscene bonuses and personal agrandisement.

The lullabys they sing to us about going back and forth between Earth and Mars are just crooned to us to opiate us into total compliance with their monstrous get-rich schemes. Ultimately they, like the rest of us, will join the ranks of the poverty class, but not before they have totally wrecked this planet.

Why is wanting to go to Mars dependent upon what "some of us think"? And, even if what "some of us think" is true, why would that mean we couldn't go back?
