A VOTE FOR JILL IS A VOTE FOR TRUMP WHY DON'T DEMOCRATS GET IT?

They don't "get it" because that's bullshit. A vote for a third party candidate is not a vote for Trump or Hillary, mathematically or otherwise. There are more than two options on the ballot, and people are not obligated to help you defeat whichever of them you think is the worst. If the Democrats wanted more votes, they should have put up a better candidate.

The good news for you is that there is an 82% chance that the voter in question will live in a state that is not a swing state. That is, it WILL go to Clinton or Trump, and their vote doesn't matter at all. In that case, voting third party is the ONLY useful thing they can do with their vote. One, helping a third party get to 10% of the popular vote will give that party debate privileges and increased funding, and make them a "major" party, giving Americans more than two awful choices in future elections. Two, even if that third party doesn't reach 10%, the votes that go to that party will influence the policy changes of the two major parties as they scramble to capture "undecided" votes the next time around.

When a person compromises their vote and votes for a major party candidate because "third party candidates can't win," they are just telling the Rs or Ds, "Good job. I like what you're doing. Keep it up." In the very likely event that their personal views are more closely reflected by a third party candidate, this is essentially lying, and it is what keeps the absurd political duopoly that is ruining our country running.

Republicans have the exact same concern. There are a lot of people in the republican party that are not thrilled with Trump being the candidate and refuse to vote for Hillary.

I'm expecting the third party candidates to do well and their votes will come from both parties. In the end it will all equal out.

A vote for Jill is a vote against corruption!

Of course a vote for Trump is also a vote against corruption. But if you can't force yourself to vote for Trump, then Jill is the next best thing.
