It means that followers of Jesus do not involve themselves in the political, religious, or commercial systems of this wicked world. (John 17:15-19)

we have governments all over the world. Some have presidents and dictators. When it is time for Jesus christ to rule the world it will not matter what human is in power. He will set it up in Daniel 2:44 it tells how.

I believe it to mean that not being part of the world means to follow God. You cannot follow the world and also follow God at the same time. Jesus came to do the Father's will and not other people's.

He is from heaven, and true believers have their citizenship in heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

His real followers would not get involved in any scripturally incorrect worldly affairs such as politics, organisd religion or any of the popular activities or celebrations that dishonour God.

The world is fake, matter and energy are fake. This is just the matrix and with your imagination, you can change the entire world.

He meant that our true identity is our spiritual nature, which will last forever. Our physical or biological nature is just a temporary thing.

JESUS DID NOT BELONG IN A SINFUL WORLD FOR HE IS PERFECT...33 YRS WAS ENOUGH FOR HIM TO WALK, PREACH, TEACH HIS DISCIPLES, DIE FOR US AND SAVE MILLIONS WHILE DOING SO!
