Will a Joe Biden/Bernie Sanders ticket for the DNC in 2020 be a serious treat?

After Trump and the Pence fascists turn the US into a combination of Brownback's Kansas and Hitler's Germany, my dogs will be a serious threat.

I believe Bernie's time has passed and he knows it. But I also believe that he feels emboldened by Hillary's loss and sees an opportunity to gain more influence in the Democratic Party.

I suspect he and the further-left elements of the party are looking for a new face right now....someone younger than Warren and Cuomo... maybe a Governor like Gina Raimondo... someone Bernie can "adopt" in much the same way that Ted Kennedy adopted Barack Obama to give his faction a charismatic new look.

I think the Democrats over-estimated their sway on millennial voters..and I think Bernie has uttered more than a few "I told you so's" behind the scenes this week. I would look for the next DNC candidate to be a young, fresh face cast to appeal specifically to millennials.... with Bernie looming not far behind.

That depends on what kind of job Trump does. If he does a good job, then it probably won't matter who the Dems run. If not, no matter who the nominee is in 4 years will have a good shot. Also, Biden and Sanders will be 77 and 79 respectively. Talk about old white guys!

That's it: glass half full! Rub some dirt in it! But what happens when the Trump economy works, we have energy independence from increased fracking and exploration, and healthcare costs less? Dream dream dream...

It's pretty sad if that is the best the dems can come up with.
