Dryer in another room no socket, is it best to extend dryer cable or just use an extension? Which would be safer?

    Have an outlet installed within reach of the dryer's own power cord.

    INSTALL ANOTHER POWER OUTLET FOR DRYER IS THE SAFER WAY, BECAUSE DRYER TAKE MORE THAN 3000W AT 240V DANGEROUS POWER SOURCE.

    Getting an electrician to move the dryer plug is probably safest.
