Hello, I would like to ask a question please? my dad is a highly qualified electrician and has been in the trade for well over 40+ years! the thing i need to know is, how hard it is for him if we move to the USA to get that same job? and do the UK qualifications transfer into USA equivalent?
Please may i ask for serious answers only much appreciated.

The issue here is that he will need a work permit. All foreign workers must obtain permission to work legally in the United States. Each employment category for admission has different requirements, conditions and authorized periods of stay. You should look at the immigration website and see what his options are.

The real issue is how would he/your family migrate as there are no employer sponsored work visas for trades people and he is qualified in the UK, not the US.
