Why is it that people that are in relationships give such bad advice to single people? And if not that they avoid giving it all together?

I'm a perpetually single person at 23 years old, bisexual male. I ask for advice from friends that are in relationships and they either give me advice that doesn't work or just not give me any at all. Why do people do this?

Because they think they figured everything out and have no idea that their relationship sucks. These types are too proud of themselves for getting a relationship with a good looking person and they believe that they're doing something right that others haven't caught onto.

Edit: They're just being foolish. They believe their relationship is going well and they think they're giving great advice.
