flat eath! why do you think the earth is a ball/pare/oblate sphere?
I live on a flat un-moving plane.
I have piloted a plane, i have seen it all with my own eyes the Earth is Flat.
if the earth is mostly water and water finds its level and sits flat and level when still then since the earth is mostly water then earth is a least mostly flat.

Nice picture, Can't you see the Curve??
Flat Earth Disproved. In 340 B.C . Aristotle, in his book “On the Heavens”, was able to put forward two good arguments that the Earth was a round sphere rather than a flat plate. First, he realized that eclipses of the moon were caused by the earth coming between the sun and the moon. The Earth’s Shadow on the moon was always round, which would be true only if the earth was spherical. Second, the Greeks knew from their travels the North Star appeared lower in the sky when viewed in the south than it did in more northerly regions. The Greeks even had a third argument that the earth must be round, for why else does one first see the sails of a ship coming over the horizon, and only later see the hull?

You pilot commercial jets? You can't see the curvature of the earth until you get up around 30,000-40,000 feet, AND have a 60 degree field of view - lower or with a smaller view, you simply can't see enough. You'd also need a straight edge long enough to hold up to the horizon to check, to rule out any optical illusions. I don't think they'd let you take such a thing on a plane, even if you were the pilot.
All of the observable evidence indicates a spherical (roughly) earth.
You can believe whatever stupid thing you want, that's your prerogative. It's fine when everyday people are ignorant, whether the earth is round or flat won't affect your career in the fast food industry. It isn't really a problem until those in positions of power start to ignore observable evidence.

The only way truly to describe the Earth is as a "geoid"! (An "Earth-shaped body") The shape of the Earth is unique, and not truly describable in mathematical terms. But indeed it is very close to a sphere or an oblate spheroid.
"Ball" is an everyday term, not a scientific term, generally close to a sphere, but not so in the case of Rugby or American Football, or Australian Rules Football, etc.
And note that even the photo you have posted shows slight curvature of the horizon - with a wide-angle lens that curvature is even more obvious from a high view-point such as from a plane.
I am unaware of the shape called "pare" in your question.

How ironic that your picture is actually proof that the Earth is curved. If it was flat there would be no sharp horizon, you could see all the way to New Zealand from New York on a clear day.
Cheers!

If the Earth is so flat, then how come we can see greater detail in planets of our solar system with a telescope, but we can't see over the horizon?
You should be able to see the empire state building, the pyramids of Egypt, Mt. Everest or Uluru, from your airplane if the Earth is not spherical.

As I assume you know, a triangle on a plane surface has internal angles that total 180 degrees.
On a sphere, they total more than 180 degrees.
As a surveyor, I have measured large triangles. When I use my readings in computations, I find that the triangles have internal angles of more than 180 degrees.

if you fly a plane and you beleive in the flat earth you are an idiot.. BECAUSE any long distance flight has to be a ARC because the earth is curved and the straightest point between two distant cities is AN ARC or CURVE ..
if the earth WAS FLAT the straightest point on a MAP WOULD be a straight line...
thanks for showing I dont want to fly with you/
