WTF ABOUT TWITTER >=(?
Is your phone number required to sign up to Twitter?
Why the **** ask for an email if they NEED the number?
I've recently tried signing up to "Shitter" and at first it didn't let me go through to the account even, so I tried going back and doing it again and it let me go through the "select an interest" page, no problem, let me get to the "post a tweet" page, no problem. AS SOON as I touched the custom-privacy settings this bullshit of "Verify your account" via a phone number I am NOT sharing popped up and won't let me back or forward without the ******* number. I've given it a number four times now and it still refuses based on the number being "invalid" WTF IS GOING ON?
It doesn't SEEM to be a virus and this **** is beginning to really wear on me.
PLEASE HELP.
And how do I backtrack since I apparently cannot move forward?
Support won't email me back.

It's actually great for them to ask for your phone number. You have to think outside of the box. In today's world it is crazy with the hacking, stolen items,etc. It's a good thing because what if someone hacked your Twitter. Yes, they might send a confirmation code to your e-mail telling you to reset your phone, but what if they hacked your e-mail also. Twitter can also send it to your mobile device. Can't anyone hack your phone. So that's actually a good idea for Twitter to ask for your phone number.
