Is it ok to kill someone who is destined to go to Hell and will you go to Heaven for doing a good deed?

I haven't read that 2,000 year old pamphlet in a very long time, but I'm fairly sure "Thou shall not kill/murder" is inscribed in there somewhere.

I'm also fairly certain there's something about not judging people in there, so you can't possibly judge someone to be hellbound then murder them and still meet the qualification for going to the clouds.

But more in line with my thinking, it's not your place to decide if someone should live or die. Taking a life out of self defense when they have you cornered if fine, but nothing else.

"...ok to kill someone who is destined to go to Hell and will you go to Heaven for doing a good deed"

sounds like something straight from an Al Qaeda pamphlet

No. The Bible says God commands everyone to treat each other with kindness & forgive & love all, whether they're good or bad. I'm thinking you probably are wondering this because nowadays it's common to think God will appreciate it if you hate people that God disapproves of, like Satan. God loves all, & if Satan ever decides to repent from his sins & ask God to forgive him, God will accept him with open arms & forgive him, God says in the Bible that everyone is to follow the example Jesus Christ left for us & become more like God. That means you should do the same thing for everyone that God would do for Satan. To put it simply: Both you & that bad person that you're killing will go to hell. God says if you kill ANYONE you will go to hell unless you're sorry. Killing someone, even if they're bad does NOT make you a good person. That's also another reason why revenge is sinful. If there was a friend that betrayed me, & I'm hurt & I wanted to take revenge on them, I'm doing something wrong, too. God will take revenge anyway, as the Bible also says, so don't worry about it, karma will catch every bad person in existence, all God wants us to do is live peacefully & treat everyone, including our enemies, kindly, & God will handle the rest.

No, It is not ok. How would you know who is destined to go to hell. A person can have a change of heart and become a devoted Christian. Who are you to be judge, jury and executioner.

You cannot know for certain a person's destination. However, you ask an good old question. If you could go back to 1939 and assassinate Adolph Hitler, would you do it?

Why do you feel the need to ask? After all, to know whether someone was destined to go to Hell, you would have to be omnipotent, so you should know the answer to your own question, too.

By the way, attributing to yourself attributes, such as omnipotence, that are generally regarded as belonging to God, is considered to be blasphemy by most theists.

One might imagine that an ALL-Powerful BEING would be able to accomplish its goals WITHOUT needing YOU, OR Crusaders OR Jihadists OR any other variety of Enthusiastic Rectums committing violence on its behalf.

And the fact that this ALL-Powerful Being does nothing to STOP all of you Enthusiastic Rectums from

COMMITTING those acts of violence, seems a strong indication that this Being does not actually BE.

No, but you'll definitely go to jail. Other than self-defense you have no business killing anyone, no matter what kind of person they are. Does "thou shalt not kill" ring any bells? I find your attitude rather pompous and self-righteous, and it's one of the reasons I've never followed religion.

You have no way of knowing if someone is "destined" for hell. And you aren't in a position to judge the state of their soul. The question is therefore moot.

It is never OK to kill someone, unless it is in self-defense, or you are an executioner carrying out the order of a judicial authority or in war.
