You can't just make up a thesis statement. You have to do research and gather evidence to answer your research question. The thesis statement is the answer to that question.
So, what research have you done on "women of that time," and what have you found out? Oh, you haven't done any? Well, you have 10 hours. Get started. I hope there's a library in your town that's open all night.
