Does God answer all prayers? Well if we need an answer about God answering prayers we need to go to the Source book. what does the Bible say about God answering prayers?

1 John 5:14-15- we have to pray according to God's will so that means we have to understand what his will is

James 4:3 - if you ask with the wrong motives God will not answer your prayer so you need to ask with a right heart

John 15:7,16 --- God will answer the prayers of is believers/children on a frequent basis if they follow biblical principles

Isaiah 65:24-he already knows what we're going to pray before we pray

Hebrews 11:6- God responds to faith so you must pray in faith and believe

Funny that when god doesn't answer a prayer religious folks say then it wan't gods will. Well to quote Carlin, “ If its gods will and he's gonna do what he wants aanyway, then why bother praying in the first place?“

It's all pretty silly to me anyway. It astonishes me that grown people still buy into this stuff. I mean when I was a child I had an imaginary friend, believed in the eeaster bunny and santa but guess what? I grew up! Maybe if others did we wouldn't be fighting over who's god is the true god. Lennon said it best. Imagine!

some but not for all... for it is not good for the spirit of others. that precious moments are just preserved to all that have a real love to humanity. God worked that way ...I guess.

some will tell you story this way and not bad at all, like this:

All are already written in the Bible but only few can understand it for their hearts are not belong to heaven only belong to this material world.

Does God answer ALL prayers? God hears all prayers but that doesn't mean he will necessarily answer them the way we want him to. The most important thing to remember is that you have to be in Covenant with God for God to answer your prayers consistently. That's step 1. If you haven't received Christ as your Savior and he is not your Father how can you expect him to give you anything you want? It's like going to State Farm when you have Geico. You get in an accident and you send State Farm a letter saying you need them to cover the accident? State Farm asks if you have a policy & when you say no what can they give you? Same thing with God. The Bible says that his children are the apple of his eye so if you are part of God's family you know that God will hear your prayers. There is one prayer that God certainly hears from everybody and that is the prayer to receive him into your heart as Lord and savior

God answers all our prayers in 3 ways - Yes, Wait and No. Some prayers are answered almost immediately depending on the situation. Some are answered when the time is best, we just have to wait. Then there are times when what we pray for is not the right thing for us, but if we continue to trust in him he will provide us with something better than what we prayed for.

I'm sorry to put a downer on the situation but 'God' doesn't answer any prayer. Anything that happens is by pure coincidence. What annoys me is when someone gets seriously hurt, goes to the hospital and the doctors do life saving surgery on people and then religious people butt in and say "it's a miracle, thank you God" NO, if a guy got shot 10 times and didn't go to the hospital to have life saving surgery to stop internal bleeding and blood loss that guy would have died, his wounds wouldn't magically heal. So what I say is stop relying on 'god' to answer your prayers and look at the logical side of things.

God listens to people from all nations. (Psalm 145:18, 19) His Word, the Bible, encourages us to speak to him about any matter that concerns us. (Philippians 4:6, 7) Yet, some prayers displease God. For example, repeating memorized prayers does not please him. Matthew 6:7.

Also, Jehovah dislikes the prayers of people who willfully disregard his law. (Proverbs 28:9) And he ignores the prayers of those who rebel against him. (Isaiah 1:15) We cannot approach God in prayer without faith. (James 1:5, 6) We must be convinced that he exists and cares about us. We should pray sincerely and humbly. Even God’s Son, Jesus, was humble when he prayed. (Luke 22:41, 42)

For God to answer a prayer, it must be in harmony with his requirements as found in the Bible.1 John 5:14. So we should try to understand his requirements by reading the Bible. Then we can pray in harmony with God’s will. Regularly praying to Jehovah is a way to strengthen our relationship with him.

There's hasn't been anything to suggest any prayers get answered.

Sure, unlikely things happen sometimes, but that's well within statistical probability. If you survive something that has a 99% chance of fatality, it just means you're in the 1%.

So that means either God does nothing; or, God operates within statistical likelihoods, which doesn't seem all that great really.

Nope. And there is nothing to support the idea that God answers any prayers even. God isn't there to deal with prayers like receiving emails (which not all people answer either). Most would suggest that you don't ask God for anything specific, perhaps just guidance and support and to be shown 'the way'?

Think of God as your heavenly Father. Would an earthly/human father fill every request of his child. Wouldn't the father weigh whether or not the child's request is positive and good or negative and carry the possibility of serious danger or harm to the child or others?

Our heavenly Father is the best Father there is. He answers prayers that are in harmony with his perfect will and purpose and cause no harm to the individual or others. Keep in mind that God's will and purpose are for the benefit of all mankind. There is no harm involved. However, when man runs contrary to God's will and purpose then the consequences can be severe - not because God punishes but because of the course of events we have set in motion.
