How are you getting to these places?
Driving to LA to Vegas works.
Vegas to San Francisco, much longer drive, do able.
San Francisco to Boston, that is at least a four day drive, you will be flying right?
Why not watch baseball in San Francisco or Oakland or Los Angeles or New York or DC, all have baseball teams.
Boston is a cool city. If you going, it's worth a look. Cool history like Salam Mass.
It's a lot of traveling.
Personally I would pick on side of the US, not try to do both cost.
California I would love to see Palm Strings and San Diego and Lake Tahoe.
You seem to giving your time to see places limited like the Grand Canyon and Boston.
It seem to be very busy, will be putting stress on your and your new wife with all the traveling.

A lot of travel time. Other than that . Do as you please.
Suggest you get a map and plan how you are getting from A to B to C to D
Rental Car, Bus , Train, Plane Can get expensive during peak travel time in July and August.
30 July San Francisco to Boston (Just want to watch some baseball)
Baseball also in San Francisco

or nearby Oakland

Could be very expensive. Have you investigated if you can get tickets for the Game?
It is doable. It will require you to plan some travel from place to place.
Grand Canyon is long journey at least 2-3 hours or more each direction depending where it is you go and method of transport.
Renting car in LA??? beware of extra expense to drop off in San Francisco. Are you 25? They might not rent to you if younger or charge extra for insurance.

Mostly good advice from the other posters. One thing that I would like to add in the event you were not aware of this is that July and August are the two hottest months of the year in the States. My advice is to pack accordingly, and get accommodations with a pool. Enjoy!

I don't like your itinerary
If you're going to spend time in only one American city then that city has to be my hometown of NYC and not Los Angeles which isn't really a city at all
New plan
Oz > SFO > OZ rent a big car that burns 87 octane gas and return to SFO
SFO>JFK/ EWR >SFO No car needed
SFO > Monterey CA Stop for the night
Monterey > San Luis Obispo via Rt 1 > Stop for the night
San Luis Obispo > Oatman AZ ( get gas in Barstow ) Rt 66 into Kingman AZ >Stop for the night and fill up before you leave
Kingman > Peach Springs AZ >Seligman AZ via Rt 66 >Grand Canyon NP
GCNP
GCNP
On the road > Cameron AZ ( get gas ) > Leees Ferry AZ > Jacob Lake AZ > Mount Carmel Junction UT > Hurricane UT via Zion NP
Spend the night in Hurricane or St George UT making sure to take the drive to Mesquite NV and back thru the awesome Virgin River Gorge
Next day Rachel NV / Area 51 > Lee Vining CA Stop for the night
Next day
Lee Vining >Yosemite Village via the truly spectacular Tioga Road to some place close to SFO
Next day
Fly nonstop coast to coast and plan to stay on the Upper West Side of Manhattan
Update
Here's link for GCNP

Get NY Mets and NY Yankees schedules online and both ballparks can be reached using the subway from Manhattan and NYC public transportation runs 24/7/365
Amtrak is our national train system and it's the easiest and fastest way to travel between Boston and Washington DC aka the Northeast Corridor
Commuter rail lines allow you to reach places that are outside of the city's core
Update since this your first MLB game here's some advice on how to watch a baseball game
Seats
The best seats to WATCH a game are just above the press level and within 12 seats Left or Right of being directly behind home plate
These are the seats that hardcore baseball lovers that know how to keep score use
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtmtVHXQpD0
They are also some of the safest seats in the park
Getting hit by a baseball moving at over 75mph hurts and injures
Once at Yankee Stadium II I saw a women get her nose broken by a foul tip from a Ron Guidry fastball
Do as the players do and always make sure that you can see the ball coming off of the bat
Baseball games end when one team wins
A standard MLB is 9 innings But the shortest official game can be 4 .5 innings and the longest MLB game was 25 innings
Regardless of what the score is never leave the game until one team wins it
In the words of Lawrence Peter " Yogi " Berra " It ain't over until it's over"

Give the Grand Canyon another day. It is a long drive and there is enough to do to merit the extra time.
