Had a decent first date wih a girl I met online. How to tell if its a go for date 2?
A couple of weeks ago, I hit it off ok with this girl I met online. Now at the end of the date, I could tell after the bill arrived (which I paid), she seemed like she wanted to keep chatting with me. We did and then I said we should get together again and what's your number?
So she gave me her number, parted ways and the next day I texted said via text hey (her name), just wanted to say I had a good time last night and wanted to make sure you made it home ok and how her day has been. She then replied: Hey (my name) 😊 Yeah, it was nice to chat. I did get home okay, thanks for checking. My day has been good, how about yours?
Now I don't get that many second dates, so just wonderinf do I have a shot here?

Well continue talking with her for a while. Do NOT rush and just straight up ask her. Ask her too soon and you'll wind up scaring her away. Talk to her around a week and then ask her in a calm matter. For example. (after a week) "Hey I feel like eating at so and so place and I was wondering if you'd like to come along with me." That should do it. Also she could ask you to go somewhere else during that timespan but Play it safe and just chat with her for a week.
