iPad ghost touching? How to stop it?
So my iPad keeps touching random stuff by itself now.on apps, safari, everything. I was on Instagram, and it started going to a person on the screens acount, there fillers, their follower, their followers and kept traveling. I also liked someone's photo. I was playing a game and it kept on clicking things on the side. It scrolls through apps by itself and it's so annoying. I'll restart it, and it would be gone for ten minutes, then start again. I was logging onto my iPad and it was clicking a random passcode repeatedly and I ended up getting locked out for one our. I tried everything, restarting, sleep button, deleting apps, updating software. Nothing works! I don't have any money to fix it.

Who changed the screen, you or someone you had do the screen didn't cover the connectors with kapton tape when replacing ...right on the bottom of the digitizer (both sides) need covered if they come in contact with any surfaces or heat it will cause ghost touching to occur, and the ic chip needs covered also, there's another aluminum peice between the ic chip that you might want to check
Low budget, heat up the screen with a lighter until it's to hot to touch... take (out edges only get heated ) a razor blade or a knife and slowly and gently pry up, to much pressure with not enough head will break it easily .... start at the top and work your way down...Put the pry tool a 1/8 to 3/16 of the way in ...it would probably be wise to look up online to determine where the ribbon cable is to try an avoid slicing into it ....when you have it folded back just cover it with some small pieces of black tape and re do the tape (prefferibly with octopus tape) 3m tape will work though ...
If you hold it upside down and heat it up , you'll see the screen release maybe a 1/16th off its platform
Nothing needs changed, the iPad is still good, it just needs some heat resistant tape in 3 to 4 different spots
Do an experiment: put some 3m double sided tape on the bottom of some thin glass , connected to a peice of metal ...heat up the tape and lay several books to press the 2 pieces together for an hour ...secure the metal holding the glass ... now heat up the glass and see how long it takes for the two pieces to come apart...
Update: did you buy it used, a previous owner could have changed the screen
Either way the digitizer needs to be removed from the case and inspected ...not replaced.

Did you drop it in water by accident? I had a similar problem where my apple mac keyboard would starting typing for no reason, then I realized that I spilled water on it.
