Would drug dealers be able to pay their own bail with the money they got drug dealing?

Update:

Doing a project for technical communication on reducing the problem of drug dealing. Wondered this in my research.

  • No, that sh*t gets confistcated unless if the police cant prove that, that specific dollar bill isnt from selling drugs. Some dealers do get away with that in some cases.

    They might not be able to pay with money they DIDN'T get from dealing drugs. I know of someone who's family and friends all put in on his bail money. They went to pay it, and it was confiscated as drug money.

    Nearly all US currency is contaminated with cocaine.

    the money they have isn't from drug dealing, it's from "selling lemonade" or other stuff they come up to desguise it, so yh

    It would have to come from someone else or have a crooked lawyer fix it so they can. Happens all the time.
