Best snow tires to get for a 09 Crown Victoria?

First snowfall here in Minnesota driving my 09 crown victoria and I'm sliding all over the road with my current tires. What are some good winter tires to go with when driving through snow?

    Sakru,

Your original equipment tire size for your 2009 Ford Crown Vic is 235/55R17 98H. You will have limited but good choices available. So your choice will depend on how much you are willing to spend and how important overall quality might be to you.

    Here are your best options.

If you want the best quality winter tires, and cash is not an issue, go for either the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 or the Michelin X-Ice Xi3. Either would be your best choices.

Or, if you are needing to keep costs down but still want a very good quality winter tire go for the General AltiMAX Arctic or the Firestone Winterforce. Both can be had for around $100 or so. Go with the Winterforce if you don't want to spend any more than about $500 or so out the door with mounting and balancing included.

Hi studded tires are the best.
