Wanting speakers for my legacy. Which route should I take?
I got an 03 legacy. I am looking for surreal sound. Like good bass and all. I am looking on crutchfield for speakers that fit my car. Should I get regular 2-way speakers that have higher RMS than Component and then get tweeters separate and install them or should I go with the bundle of buying a component speaker system? And/or what all should I do? I want high RMS, I can't find speakers that fit my car that have higher than 100 RMS. I want like high high RMS, Should I look amazon?

Power handling is a poor way to judge the quality of a speaker.
There are a few different reasons that doesn't make any sense.
Primarily -- going by power ratings alone means you're buying Boss or Planet Audio speakers b/c they have ridiculously high power ratings. The problem is they are not honest.
Unless you go out an listen to a variety of speakers and figure out what you need to accomplish you're goals you'll never really know.'
One thing you can generally trust is the price tag. If a pair of speakers is $40 its highly unlikely it's high quality, or capable of handing a lot of power. If it's $150 there's a reason as well. It is not uncommon to see ~$500 pairs of speakers in high end SQ installations. If you look around (woofersetc.com is a good source) you'll find component sets that cost as much as a good used car. Most of the high end stuff falls into the 100-150w rms range.
There are a LOT of high quality speakers that will play extremely loud and clear with 50-100w rms.

You should listen to different speakers at a stereo shop to discover which sound better than the ones you have. Look at their specifications- frequency response and power in RMS watts. Better shops have technicians who know product and can explain what works best in your vehicle.
