Several years ago I was given a voice mail number , different than the ph# I was issued. Plan said the v.m number would always be mine?
I long since changed companies , however found the forever v.m. number which is active , but not set up. I searched the number and it said Verizon is provided. When I call number I always get " subscriber has not set up voicemail". How do I access the voicemail set up prompts ,obviously from another phone? Thank you

Unless your voice mail was from a different company, like Google Voice, I think you misunderstood when you thought that you would always have the same voice mail number.
