What should I do about my school situation?

All my friends go to different schools, so at this school I'm very quiet and shy. My teachers think I'm retarted, because I was diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger's syndrome. My teachers just seem to have it out for me, like oftenly they'll purposeful ask me questions that don't make since and laugh when I get confused causing all my peers to think I'm stupid and making me look stupid. I have a band with my out of school friends. Also, I'm the only atheist in my school (it's dominated my Christians and is small). Like one kid even told me I was going to hell for not believing. I'm really sick of where I go. I can't transfer, because my anxiety issues make it impossible to go to the big mainstream publicschool.

You sound like my step-son - he's Autistic, atheist, and he's in band with all his band friends in other schools.

Inform your parents so they can advocate for you with the teachers, it is possible that you don't understand the questions because of your neurology but that doesn't make it okay for them to laugh at you and if they're aware of your difficulties that's all the more reason not to call on you in the middle of class in front of everyone this way.

The school does have a duty of care in ensuring you feel safe and you are an environment where you can learn, so right now they're failing to provide that, but unfortunately a lot of the time it's just a matter of holding on until you leave school - sure if you were being severely bullied they'd have to step-in, but it's just not the 'done' thing for you to report every little incident to teachers because often that can make school environment even worse for you.

Aside from having your parents step-in when needed, you really need to just keep your head down, realize there's nothing wrong with you, take pleasure in the friends you have outside school, as well as work on your self-esteem and anxiety issues so that the stress of people in this school don't drag you down - don't let them drag you down.
