24 inch TV vs 32 inch TV?
So I'm sure some will say bigger is better, and I don't wholly disagree, I'm just trying to get what's best for my situation. So as of the moment I'm at a place where my TV will be at has me about 5-6 feet back from my TV. I currently have an oldschool 19 inch tube TV. I intend to upgrade in the next few days. My stand that I'm using can barely accommodate a 32 inch TV (checked measurements online) and I'm sorta OK with the idea of getting a 24 inch TV, but I'm just not sure if it's best for my situation. A 19 inch tube TV is fine for me now, but I don't know how this will translate in terms of a widescreen display. I simply don't want anything too small or too big. Ultimately, I just don't know which size to get. Price isn't much of an issue for me right now.

There is actually a math formula that the TV industry uses to determine best TV for viewing distance. In your case the 32 inch would be best. And bigger is most definitely not always better. Have you ever sat in the front row of a movie theater? Yeah you can get that negative effect in the home too. When I worked in an electronics store it would surprise you as to how many people would return TV's for being to big. Now I just work on a farm.

You should sit about twice the size from the screen. In your case 32 inch would be right

minimum distance from a 32 in tv is 3.2 meters and a 24 in one 2.4 meters.
if you want to play games, choose a 120 hz refresh rate ...
any question?

Take a tape measure along so you can be sure
that what you buy will fit in the available space.
Doing it that way will automatically answer the question of what screen size to get.
