What to get a first time expecting mom?
My best friend is having her first baby soon and I want to get her some good gifts! Nothing to pricey she has the main things but something many don't think about maybe?

As a mom, I couldn't have enough onesies. If you buy them in varying sizes, that's a plus. Gift cards to takeout places are appreciated. Exhausted new mothers (and fathers) have no time to cook. (Also, offer to watch the baby for your friend so she can shower and/or sleep. My sister came over often to help with my newborn. No surprise that she's her favorite auntie!) If she's nursing, breast pads/Lansinoh will be appreciated. DO NOT buy blankets or stuffed animals. Everyone buys those and she won't need more of those.

A baby's first year journal or scrapbook or a membership to Shutterfly or Snapfish, JCPenney.

-nipple shields (if she is planning to breast feed)
-nipple cream (again for breast feeding
-breast pads (BF)
-diapers
-wipes
-pacifiers
-baby lotion
-baby oil
-diaper rash cream
-infant Tylenol
-thermometer
