Inverse Trig Function homework problem?

Suppose that tan theta= -7/4 and sin theta is greater than 0, (my guess is that with this info we know that we're working in quadrant II)

a) use an inverse trigonometric function to write an expression for the reference angle

b)next use this reference angle to find the measure theta in degrees and minutes

I feel like i can solve b but i'm not understand part a with the whole inverse trigonometric function thing

    π - Θ for a) or " - arctan (-7/4) " as arctan ( - 7 / 4 I is in the 4th quadrant and the desired reference angle is in the 1st....≈ 60.26 ° or 60° 15' 36"
