Trig Problem?
Suppose that cos(π/2 - θ) = x/3 where 0<θ<π/2. Express the quantity (cotθ+θ) as a function of x.
It says to use a co-function identity and inverse trigonometric function and that θ is an acute angle.

1 AnswerMathematics4 years agoInverse Trig Function homework problem?
Suppose that tan theta= -7/4 and sin theta is greater than 0, (my guess is that with this info we know that we're working in quadrant II)
a) use an inverse trigonometric function to write an expression for the reference angle
b)next use this reference angle to find the measure theta in degrees and minutes
I feel like i can solve b but i'm not understand part a with the whole inverse trigonometric function thing
1 AnswerMathematics4 years agolog square root of (10) + 1/3 log 1/100 Find the exact value?
I found two answers, they equal the same but i'm not sure which is the exact value
Is it: log square root of (10) - 2/3
or: -1/6?
1 AnswerMathematics5 years agoIn California, do you need a driver's license to register a car in your name?
I was reading the requirements and it said you need proof of insurance, smog, ownership, and ID. It doesn't mention license anywhere only ID which i have, so my question was if i needed a driver's license to register a car, I currently don't have one because i am learning to drive. I was thinking of buying a car (used) and having someone to teach me but i don't want to pay the late registration fees because i obviously can't learn in 10 days (which the required time in which you have to register it)
5 AnswersInsurance & Registration5 years agoFind the third degree polynomial function.?
Find the third degree polynomial function f(x) such that f(1-2i)=0, f(1/2)=0 and satisfying the boundary condition f(2)=15. Write the answer in standard form. hint: non-real, complex zeroes occur in conjugate pairs; use the boundary condition to determine the leading coefficient.
It's a homework problem and i would want to know how to do it
