anyone use the disney wow calibration dvd?
The blu ray is too expensive and I dont know much about the spears & munscil or other blu rays but i like what i seen in the disney wow, but like i said the blu ray version is way too expensive. also the only thing ive used to help with my settings is the thx optimizer in a dvd movie i have, so how much better could i adjust my tv?

Generally, any disc intended to be used to set gray scale
should be good enough for the average user.
The most important factors are
following the included instructions to the letter,
being extremely patient about it,
and paying close attention to the smallest details.
If you do it well, you should achieve results about 90% as good
as a professional with a colorimeter could provide for $300.
Now, consider this:
With a $50 disc, you could get 90 percent of the results
for one sixth of the cost of a professional calibration.
That is Not "too expensive" --- it's dirt cheap!
And you can use the disc for all the TVs you have now
or that you get in the future.
That makes it even less costly per use.
