s/t < x/y , por hipótesis.
sy < tx ....multiplicación cruzada.
Podemos sumarles la misma cantidad a ambos miembros
sy +st < tx +st ʌ sy +xy < tx+xy
s(t+y) < t(s+ x) ʌ y(s+x) < x(t+y)
s/t < (s+x)/(t+y) ʌ (s+x)/(t+y) < x/y
Por transitividad de la desigualdad
s/t < (s+x)/(t+y) < x/y ….tal como queríamos.
