Painting bike?
I want to paint a red stripe on one part of the frame of my bike and i can't find much on painting a stripe but I found that everybody that paints their whole bike strips the paint so is there a way to strip the paint from a very specific area for the stripe or is there a way to paint over the original paint so what's the best way to do it (frame is black)

Getting new paint to stick to old paint is tricky, especially if you want to paint a small area. You would have to remove paint only where you want to paint, then apply paint only in that area, and apply a clear coat afterwards. It might be easier to have the whole frame repainted, assuming that is that you want the result to look better than what you already have

If the paint is in good condition - and the new paint will adhere well to the old - then there's no need to remove it all. Ideally you'd scuff the surface before paint, but that'd be kinda tricky if you only want to paint a stripe.
If it was me I'd try to find a tape or vinyl stripe, or buy some self-adhesive vinyl and cut my own stripes to apply instead of painting.
No mess, and if you're not happy, peel it off and try again.
