not good, not bad as long as you heal it correctly. A tattoo is essentially a 'big' section of scar tissue with ink under the scar. So it's not good that your skin is "scarred" but as long as you heal it correctly so you don't get an infection or let it get a real deep scar, it's fine. Just like any other scar on your skin but it'll be decorated.
