When you were a senior in high school, did you feel ready to take on the world? Looking back, what advise would you give your hs self?

Every time I meet someone who is a senior in high school, I always ask them the same question: "How do you feel about being a senior?" I ve noticed that I receive three different types of answers to my question.

1.) I m SO ready to get out of this place! I totally know how to survive in the real world, and I m sick and tired of high school drama and dealing with immature kids! I m ready for a new challenge! I m ready to get out of the house!

2.) I m not ready! I wish I still had one more year to go! I don t know what I want to do with my life, and I don t know how to handle bank accounts or how to cook! The world is a jungle and it s going to eat me up!

3.) I m not sure. Hasn t quite sunk in yet. I suppose I m scared, yet excited about it. I m ready to get away from immature kids, but I m not quite ready to make a living on my own.

(If you have graduated) what would you like to tell yourself now that you are older, and (presumably) wiser? What would you do differently?
