    y + 4 = - 7(x - 1)

    y + 4 = - 7x + 7

    y = - 7x + 7 - 4

    y = - 7x + 3

    Inform of: y = mx + c

    Where, gradient m = - 7, and intercept c = 3

    DONE !

    y + 4= -7(x − 1) < == this is a line in point-slope form y − y₁ = m(x − x₁)

    expand the brackets/parentheses

    ∴ y + 4= -7x + 7

    subtract 4 from both sides

    ∴ y = -7x + 3 <== This is the same line in slope-intercept form y = mx + b

    for completeness adding 7x to both side

    ∴ 7x + y = 3 <== This is the same line in standard form Ax + By = C [where A, B, C are all integers, and A is positive and in this form m = -A/B]

    As you have NOT STATED ANY PROBLEM, no one else will, either !

    y = - 7x + 3 is the equation of a line !

    I don't either. What is the objective?
