What is your favorite heavy metal label: Metal Blade, Neat, Roadrunner, Earache, Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Mausoleum Records or what?

Relapse.

My favorites are Baroness and Royal Thunder. Mastodon started out with Relapse as well.

All of them have either signed great bands or have great bands on them now. Its impossible to pick which one is the best. The one thing I like about them is they are willing to take a chance on something that is not exactly for everyone. Take Nuclear Blast and Earache they are known for signing a lot of black and death metal bands. Two styles of music that are not exactly for the faint of heart. All are great for their special reasons, heavy metal and the subcategories that are within it dont get the credit they deserve. They seem to always be in the spotlight for some negative or thought to be negative thing. Its great to see labels that just want to sign bands, regardless of how they are viewed.

Most things I liked came from Century Media.
