I don't feel connected to Allah?

Although I'm not part of your religious group, I am agnostic (meaning I don't believe nor disbelieve in a god or gods) but I figured an outside perspective may help some. My personal belief on religion is that some people may not feel as close, or connected, maybe it's not what you're doing wrong, it's just that you are more connected to things around you, other than your faith. Not that that is a bad thing, there may be a stronger spiritual connection to something else. I don't think that it's anything wrong on your part because God/Allah will surely love you as an individual and appreciate all that you do in his name. I'm not sure if this has helped or not, I never felt a personal connection between myself and God, I'm not sure whether you are only recently experiencing it or not. I think that's just the way people work sometimes.

it's either becuase you are just Ritualising the entire matter , you became like a machine praying in time or simply you became advanced and needs to be initiated into advanced levels of islam instead of the entry levels that's why you lost the spiritual connection for sure .

Imam Ahmad Qabanji ( Iraqi Shia Twelver Scholar ) : " only pray when you feel spiritual hunger to avoid ritualising the prayer or turning it into daily sport " .

Also Alavi muslims and Druze Muslims Agrees on this matter . ismaili muslims pray only 3 times day not 5 . also advanced gnostic/sufi muslims agrees with Imam Ahmad Qabanji , only the entry levels of sufis don't agree .

do your own ijtihad regarding the matter . but my advice is to go into more islamic spiritual techniques to see allah , angels , prophets and hearing their voices . if you are interested in this advanced adventurous level of Gnostic Islamic Spiritual Techniques feel free to email me bro .

That´s a good thing. It means you´re half way there. God is not real so anyone claiming they feel connected to a god is simply experiencing a different brain chemistry to you...in other words it´s all in their head.

There are many religions in this world and followers from all these religions claim to be equally connected to their god. Again, it´s all about brain chemistry.

this question is the start ..you need to change your life style .. there is something blocks you from

connecting to God .. you should know which time every pray and set the alarm on these times

these times will be for God only and dont let anything stops you from doing it on time .. know inside yourself

that a prayer wont take much time ..if you pray with your heart you will be so close .. and the most important

thing .. dont do sins because sins also can make you disconnected from God .. i hope you back from the bottom of my heart

Accept Jesus you will feel more connect Allah not real

You really don't need that such feeling, praying is for our own benefit in hereafter. It is the way to attain salvation.

Sufism, connect your heart. you are doing the outward practice, but your heart needs to be awakened to be connected. read Ibn Arabi, Al ghazali, sufism,,, bawa muhayyaddeen...do dhkr la illaha il allah la illaha il allah...focus on breath......huuu. Also please realize...the fact that you are already concerned about this...that you actually took your time to post this question on the internet to become close to allah MEANS you already are.....your heart is already longing for the nearness and closeness. make sincere duah.....do not worry. your heart is precious allah is there
